In the context of the wider enhancement of the exhibition, «FETEC - Factory Equipment» will be held in the new, state of the art Athens Metropolitan Expo which will start its operation at the International Airport «Eleftherios Venizelos». It covers a 110.000 square meter area and its basic characteristics are:

• The structured areas of 50.000 square meters, with 4 ground level, spacious and high ceiling exhibition halls, two impressive reception areas, indoor hallways, two event rooms, two restaurants, seven bars, business centers, Media centers, Mini Market, conference rooms, wireless Internet, etc.
• Plenty of exterior space for exhibits, 3.500 parking spaces for visitors, private parking for buses and special VIP parking.
• Easy transport through Attiki Odos highway or the suburban railway and the subway (final terminal).
• Proximity to hotels, malls, recreation areas and the airport.
  

The exhibition halls of the Athens Metropolitan Expo have a clear height of 7 (halls 1, 2, 3) and 12 meters (hall 4) each. They are all fully equipped with international specifications technologies (underground canal system with electrical provision, water supply and drainage) provided to all stands.

For the comfortable and fast loading and unloading of the structures and merchandise there are at least 20 doors in each hall; in addition, an in-depth study was conducted to forecast the needs of the largest exhibits, with five doors for loading and unloading of special exhibits in each hall.
